  • The new session kicked off with positivity and cheer.
6 April 2018:
  • A seminar was held at Navsadhna, wherein the resource person spoke about the pivotal role communication plays in our life as teachers.
  • 21 April 2018:
    • The students who had been selected in NSTSE Examination were felicitated by Fr. Principal. Taha Khan of Class VI-B bagged It prize held at Jaipuria School. Atharv Singh of Class IX-C received certificates from UP Police for participating in Police Summer Camp.
    1 May 2018:
    • The First Unit Test was conducted on 1t of May.
    10 May 2018:
    • A Farewell cum Welcome ceremony was organised by the school where Rev. Fr. Peter Colaco was given a tearful farewell and Rev. Fr. Susai Raj was welcomed as the new school Principal.

    • We also bade a farewell to Sr. Cymprose D’ Almeida who worked for six years in this Institution.

    • The school closed down for Summer Vacation.
    29 June 2018:
    • A formal staff mecting was held on 29th June. Fr. Principal presided over the meeting and shared his vision for the year ahead.
    2 July 2018:
    • The school reopened after a long and rejuvenating summer break. Fr. Susai Raj our Principal addressed the students and congratulated the ICSE and ISC students for their marvelous performance in exams.
    14 July 2018:
    • St. John the Baptist : A feast on the nativity of St. John the Baptist was celebrated in the school premises. The dance performance and few songs enacted the life of St. John the Baptist.

    • School Magazine The Annual Magazine was released by the Hon’ble Principal in a solemn function.

    • Investiture Ceremony : On the same fine morning our newly appointed Vice Captains took oath before the entire school to be true to their post and duties assigned to them.

    • Inter House Debate Competition : The school organised an Inter-House Debate Competition on the topics Is Global Warming, a real issue? and ‘Plastics should be banned or not. Blue House bagged the Is position in phase I while in phase II, Red House clinched the 1 position.

    • Our students participated in various events conducted by W.H. Smiths, Sigra. They actively participated in the events like Debate, Declamation, English and Hindi Creative Writing and Painting Competitions.

    • Bharat Raksh Parv: The leading newspaper ‘Dainik Jagran’ celebrated ‘Bharat Raksha Parv’ to show love and gratitude to our real heroes. Our school actively participated in this and sent hand made rakhies to the soldiers.

    • The District Administration honoured the students who secured top spots in the city in IC.S.E. and I.S.C. Examination. Pritanshi Saraswat XI-B was felicitated by the D.M.

    • The Second Unit Test was conducted.
    8 August 2018 :
    • Street Play : The artists of ‘Prerna Kala Manch’ were invited to perform a street play in the premises of St. John’s School, Ledhupur. The play was based on the writings of Munshi Premchand. The group succeeded in awakening the audience to social issues.
    8 August 2018:
    • Health Check-Up: A team of experienced doctors of St. Mary’s Hospital organiseda Health Check-Up camp in the premises. The doctors and technicians conducted the test, provided consultation for general ailments and prescribed medicine for the same.
    15 August 2018:
    • Independence Day: Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and respect at St. John’s School, Ledhupur. To commemorate the soverignity of our nation. Our Chief Guest Fr. Julian Fernando the tricolor and all in unison sang the National Anthem. Students sang the patriotic songs and presented many other cultural programmes.

    • PTM: A ‘PTM’ was held on 18th August to discuss the performance of the students with their parents.

    • Book Fair : A ‘Scholastic Book Fair was held in the premises of the school. The fair brought along wide treasure trove of books that empowered the children of all ages.
    21 August 2018:
    • Tree Plantation Drive: A Tree Plantation Programme was held in the School premises. The students actively participated in it and thoroughly enjoyed the planting process.
    24 August 2018:
    • Bishop’s Day : The entire family of St. John’s School Ledhupur went to the Bishop’s House to wish Bishop on the pious occasion of his Episcopal Ordination Anniversary.
    25 August 2018:
    • Quiz Competition : An Inter-House Quiz Competition was held in the school in two phases, wherein Phase-I was for Juniors and Phase-II was for Seniors. In Phase-I Yellow House bagged the 1 position whereas in Phase-II Blue House emerged as winners.
    1 September 2018:
    • On the pious occasion of Anniversary of Sainthood of Mother Teresa, our students went to Varanasi Cantt Post Office square to join the prayer service held there at the foot of her statue.
    5 September 2018:
    • Teachers’ Day: Teachers’ Day was celebrated in the school on 5h September. The program led off with a prayer song and was followed by offering flowers to the portrait of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and Mother Teresa. The students put up a splendid performance on the stage. Some interesting games were organized for the teachers.
    11 September 2018:
    • Half Yearly Exam : Half Yearly Examination commenced and was concluded on 24 September.
    27 September 2018
    • Seminar : A two-days scminar was held on 27th and 28h September. Speaking on the occasion, the resource person focussed on relearning how to teach new generation students in this highly technological world. Many interactive and funfilled activities were carried out which not only benefitted the teachers but also motivated them to have a positive outlook in life.
    4 October 2018:
    • The school re-opened after a short interval. Students were excited to see their answer scripts.

    • Atal Samman : It is a matter of immense pride and felicity that our Principal Rev. Fr. Susai Raj was honored with ‘Atal Samman’ for his outstanding and commendable contribution in the field of Social Welfare, Education and promotion of Art and Culture. He was felicitated in the assembly by Mr. Anshuman who honored him with a shawl and an Appreciation Certificate.

    • Visit to Jeevan Jyoti : On the occasion of “‘World Sight Day’, the students of class X paid a visit to Jeevan Jyoti School for Blind at Aktha.
    13 October 2018:
    • Result Distribution: The Report Cards of Half Yearly Examination were distributed. Teachers discussed with parents about their children’s progress and result in detail. On the same day students were taken to St. Mary’s, Sonatalab to see Arts and Science Exhibition.
    23 October 2018:
    • The school celebrated our hon’ble Principal’s birthday with affection, warmth and gaiety. Each class presented a dance performance. The children showed their love and gratitude by presenting hand-made cards and bouquets.
    5 November 2018:
    • Diwali Celebration : The celebration of Diwali came alive at St. John’s School, Ledhupur. The whole school wore a festive look with diyas adorning the stage and coridors. Fr. Principal lit the lamp and diya to begin the assembly. Some visually impaired children from Jeevan Jyoti School had set up stalls and displayed their handmade diyas. Teachers and students enthusiastically purchased those uniquely decorated diyas.
    14 November 2018:
    • Children’s Day: The Children’s Day was celebrated in the school to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. The teachers presented a light hearted assembly dedicated to their students. It was the day wherein fun and frolic dominated after the grand and vigour of academics.

    • Science and Art Exhibition: In order to showcase the innovative creations of the students, the Annual Art and Science Exhibition was held. The exhibition provided the right platform to display the various models prepared by the students.
    6 December 2018:
    • Visit to Jeevan Jyoti School for Blind : On the occasion of World Handicap Day, the students of class X paid a visit to Jeevan Jyoti School. The visually impaired children presented some cultural programme. Each student carried a gift packet for the children as token of love.

    • The First Pre-Board commenced.
    18 December 2018:
    • Vaccination Day : The students in the age group of 4 to 15 years were given Rubella Vaccine in the ongoing campaign.
    22 December 2018:
    • Christmas Celebration: The school celebrated Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm. The entire school vibrated with the echoes of Christmas Carols.
      *Stuti Shah (VII-B) was felicitated for completing Level 8 of Abacus of Mental Arithmetic Programme.
      *Kritika Agarwal of class III-A won the title of Best Dancer.

    • The Second Pre-Board commenced from 7th January and concluded on 20h January 2019.
    25 January 2019:
    • Inter- House Dance Competition : A House wise Patriotic Dance and Singing Competition was held on 25th January. Yellow House bagged the 1t prize.
    26 January 2019:
    • The Republic Day was celebrated with great reverence, pride and grandeur in our school. A variety of cultural programmes mesmerized the audience. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged to uphold the honour integrity of the nation.
    27 January 2019:
    • Vaccination Day : The school again took initiative to vaccinate those students who were left in the first round.
    28 January 2019:
    • Farewell: The students of St. John’s School, Ledhupur bade a tearful farewell to the outgoing batch. A farewell party was organized wherein all the senior students had lots of fun.
    30 January 2019:
    • Martyr’s Day: The school paid tribute to the martyrs by observing a two-minute silence.
    4 February 2019:
    • Inter Cultural Programme: An Inter-Cultural Programme was organised in the school where a group of artists fromn Kalai Kaveri, Tiruchirappalli, TamilNadu and also from Navsadhna performed on the stage. The artists show cased their culture, tradition and language through spectacular dance and drama.
    16 February 2019:
    • Awarding the Winners:
    • Aradhya Singh (VI-C) received a Medal and a Certificate after scoring 78% in 8th Level in ABACAS.
    • Prakhar Singh (III-B) rcceived the title of ‘Star of the Level-8.
    • Jagriti Keshri (VII-A) received medal for solving 120 sums in 10 minutes in ABACUS.
    18 February 2019:
    • PTM: A ‘PTM’ was held in which teachers discussed the performance of the students with their parents.
    5 March 2019 :
    • Annual Examination : Annual Examination commenced and was concluded on 16th March. The result was declared on 29 March 2019.
